About Me
Hi there and welcome to a little slice of my life.
I am a South African, born and bred – Living in Durban, with my best friend and husband Luke. He’s a copywriter and I’m a photographer. So where he thinks in words and language, I think in light, visuals and motion. We can drive each other crazy at times but still love each other to bits.
A Personal quirk – I often start singing/humming an old school tune from obscure movies or bands quite out of the blue; which could be from growing up in the Natal Midlands – where river tubing and running in the fields barefoot was the norm; and learning to dance the waltz on my dad’s shoes while listening to his Vinyl collection was a holiday tradition.
While growing up, I found I was taking mental images all the time. But now I get to pick up my camera and capture those life moments for real. To treasure and look at when the mental memory of it becomes a bit sketchy.
Sharing in so many special life moments with the beautiful, diverse, genuine people of South Africa, and hopefully one day the world, is something I consider to be a privilege.
